jamb change of institution 2023
JAMB CHANGE OF COURSE/INSTITUTION FORM REGISTRATION IS ON.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have enabled the portal for Change of Course/Institution For 2023 Admission. This process is to enable candidates’ effect the needed changes in their earlier registration and selected course and/or institution.
WHY CANDIDATES APPLY FOR JAMB CHANGE OF COURSE/INSTITUTION
There are obviously good reasons why a candidate may need to concur to correction of data because of reasons below:
Low Jamb Score: After the release of the 2023 Jamb results, the next thing to face is admission screening exercise and admissions. Now take for instance that someone applied for aUniversity of Lagos, UNILAG who will probably fix a cut-off mark of 200 since JAMB has peg it to be 180 if such candidate scored less than 200, it simply means he/she might lost the admission. In this case the change of institution to a state-owned/private University becomes necessary. State universities generally fix cut-off marks below 200.
Incomplete O’Level Result: In this case candidates who may have ran into deficiency of required credit passes in some key/relevant subjects may decide to go for change of course so as to increase his or her chances of Admission.
Mistake During JAMB Registration: Was there a mistake while filling your registration by either you or the business/cyber cafe? With this help, you can now correct any errors made during registration of your State of Origin, Local Government of Origin, Course and Institution.
Other Challenge: These includes several factors ranging from finance, change in Geographical locations, Parent’s suggestions, Fear of Tribal differences, etc. Such cases treated under this heading result to change of institution.
For JAMB Data Correction, Change of Course/Institution Registration kindly contact through WhatsApp or Call on 08030673698
N/B: Change of course and institution can ombe done three times and you can only change to a course relating to your UTME Subject combination. To know if the course you want to change to aligns with your UTME subject combination. The platform for correction UTME subjects combination is currently available don’t do it yourself to avoid mistake, let’s help you out today.

Students Loan Begins September/october — Tinubu
The
Federal Government, Wednesday, said it had begun putting all necessary measures in place to ensure students loan begin between September and October 2023.
The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Andrew David Adejo, who revealed this while speaking to newsmen in Abuja, said already, President Bola Tinubu has approved a committee made up of ministries and agencies to see to the realization of the Students Loan Bill he recently assented to.
The Students Loan Bill, sponsored by the Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, provides for interest-free loans to indigent Nigerian students.
The law is to provide easy access to higher education for indigent Nigerians through interest-free loans from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, the Permanent Secretary said.
Adejo said “The bill is to make sure that every Nigerian has access to higher education through what we called the Higher Education Nigerian Bank.
“Learning from past mistakes, the bank is not going to be the type that will sit down and be collecting application loans, it will also perform normal banking functions and make sure loans are given because we had cases of loan recovery in the past.
“The Act as it is tells us the process, but as I speak with you today, the president has approved the committee made up of the Ministries and agencies and their meeting will be coming up 20th of June.
“The president has also directed that by September to October of this 2023/2024 academic session, he wants to see recipients of these loans. So it is a very serious march for us so between now and then we have to phantom the process for people to get the loan,” he added.
The Permanent Secretary further said the government will create a specialised bank for the operation of the loans, noting that there will be a tracking system for the efficient running of the loans scheme.
He also said it will cover both students in private and public schools, adding that the government will create a new bank for it.
“We are not going to use existing banks. We are going to create a new bank that will address this because we can’t use an existing bank.
“We don’t want to make it that only people who want to go to public schools will benefit from, private schools are paying tuition so you have to give them the opportunity
“The loan is for you to get an education programme and get employed then you start paying back. The loan recovery does not start until you get employed.
While commending President Tinubu as a job creator he said, “Our current president today is a job creator from his experience from the private sector and he has given us policy direction and job creation is one of the things he is going to do, even though you cannot create a job for everybody.”
According to him, as of June 12, only three people have seen the Act, which is the president, the current Chief of Staff and himself.
“What you have seen is the bill. The president has assented to the bill, let us wait to see the Act and you get the Act when it is transmitted to the Ministry of Justice to produce a gazette,” he said.

After 2023 JAMB UTME, What's Next? Here's What Every Candidate Should Do
With the conclusion of the 2023 JAMB UTME, some candidates are counting their gains, while others are counting their losses. Whichever category you fall in, it is important to know that a high JAMB score is not an automatic ticket to higher institutions neither does a low JAMB score automatically disqualify you for admission.
We have seen candidates with high JAMB scores who failed to secure admission into any institution and had to retake JAMB and we have equally seen candidates with low JAMB Scores (Less than 200) who gained admission without having to wait for another JAMB.
After 2023 JAMB UTME, Here's What Every Candidate Should Do
So basically, a low or high JAMB score is not the ultimate determinant of who gains and who doesn't gain admission.
So at this point, what we expect all 2023 JAMB candidates to do is to ask the following critical questions?
1. What was my school's cut-off mark last year?
2. What was the cut-off mark for my intended course of study?
3. Do I need a change of course/institution?
4. What's the school's Post-UTME Screening like?
5. How Can I prepare adequately for my school's Post-UTME Screening?
The answers to these critical questions will help you know what next step to take towards successfully securing admission this year.
If going by your score, you stand a better chance of gaining admission in a polytechnic, by all means, go for it. Unless of course, you don't mind patronizing JAMB again next year.
Another advise is this; do not wait for your school of choice to announce sales of Post-UTME form before you start preparing for it. We have made available the Post-UTME Past Questions for various institutions. Contact us to get that.
Finally, do not also forget that De Waymaker Consult will be here for you all through the journey. So ensure you visit regularly for updates regarding the 2023/2024 Admission exercise.
Admission Success to you all.
