University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially announced the screening and registration schedule for all newly admitted UTME and Direct Entry (D.E.) candidates for the 2024/2025 academic session. The exercise will run as follows:
– Phase 1: Monday, December 2, 2024 – Friday, December 20, 2024
– Phase 2: Monday, January 6, 2025 – Friday, January 24, 2025
– Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the stages involved in the process.
Stage 1: Registration Schedule/Appointment Booking
Candidates must schedule their registration appointments online:
1. Visit http://studentportal.unilag.edu.ng/
2. Log in using your JAMB Number/Application Number as your Username and Surname (in lowercase) as Password.
3. Change the default password upon logging in.
4. On the dashboard, click “Appointment” New Appointment”
5. Select your faculty, preferred date, and session, then click “Schedule Appointment”
6. Print the Appointment/Booking Slipand present it at the venue.
Note: The appointment slip is mandatory for entry.
Stage 2: Document Upload
Log in to the UNILAG Student Portal using the same credentials and navigate to Admissions > 2024/2025 Screening
1. Complete and print the bio-data form.
2. Upload the following original documents:
– JAMB Admission Letter
– O’Level Result
– Secondary School Testimonial
– Degree Certificate (for D.E. candidates only)
– Birth Certificate
– Reference Letter from a reputable individual (addressed to the Registrar)
– State of Origin Certificate
Stage 3: Physical Screening
On your scheduled date:
1. Submit two copies (colored and photocopied) of the following:
– Screening Form (Stage 2 output)
– UNILAG Online Application Form (D.E. only)
– JAMB Acknowledgment Slip (D.E. only)
– JAMB Admission Letter (colored)
– UTME Result Slip (not required for D.E.)
– Post-UTME Result Slip
– O’Level Certificate (WAEC/NECO) – Online printouts not accepted
– Letter of Reference (on letterhead, with valid seals if applicable)
– Birth Certificate
– State of Origin Certificate (must match JAMB record)
– Passport Photographs (12 copies with full names written behind)
2. Present original documents for verification.
Stage 4: Payment of Fees
– Generate a payment advice 24 hours after completing Stage 3.
– Proceed to any bank to make payment.
Stage 5: Faculty/Departmental Registration
Complete additional registration at your assigned Faculty and Department.
Important Notices
1. Impersonation Candidates found guilty will lose admission and face prosecution.
2. Drug Test: A compulsory drug test will be conducted. Candidates who test positive or fail to comply will have their admission withdrawn.
3. Further Announcements: Dates for the matriculation and orientation programs will be communicated.
